I was at an industry conference the other day and a person asked me how long I’ve been in business.  I responded “Sixteen years.”  This generated a lot of follow-up conversation with questions about how I got started, how the books were created, etc.  But the funniest part of the conversation was about getting started on just $5K and how my business partner and I were doing everything we could to save money…even designing our first covers.  As I told this story, she laughed and said “I’d like to see those!”  Well, here they are….my first book covers.  All designed by me 🙂  Go ahead and laugh.  I do every time I see them.
